TES Coach Success Story Wendy Dalpez

Career Challenges

I worked for more than 25 years in the newspaper industry. It was a tough business for many reasons. It involved me relocating — a lot. It involved me working long hours, holidays, and weekends. These things were not only hard on me, but they were hard for my family, too. Another challenge: print media was a male-dominated industry. While I was proud to be one of the few females to experience success, it never came easy. The changes to the newspaper industry were also coming fast and furious, thanks to the internet. I grew tired of the struggles. The burnout was real.

As a TES Franchisee

My career with TES gave me my life back. It allowed me to be part of my family again. Thanks to TES, I am excited to go to work again, but this time it is on my own terms. I work hard, but they are hours I choose to put in. I am no longer held back by someone else’s idea of when, where and how I work.
