Overloaded is a great way to describe how I felt. I was one person working the job of four people. The responsibilities and the pressure to perform were overwhelming at times. Managers led by fear. Employees were pitted against one another. All of these things made for a toxic and unhealthy work environment.

When I worked a corporate job, I would stress out on Sundays over the thought of going back to work on Monday. No more. Sundays are now “Fundays” again.

I am no longer a corporate hostage. I set my own schedule. The flexibility is fantastic. I’m basically the captain of my own ship.
